The International Jury, composed of director Mustava Mustafić, producer Vesna Radunović and director Danijel Pavlić, have unanimously decided that in the category "Ecology of the Best Film Award", the Macedonian film "The Lake of Apple", directed by Ljuba Stefanova and Tamara Kotevska, was awarded by the Macedonian film. The second prize went to the Pakistani film "Pangolini in danger of the director Muhammad Ali Ijaz. The third prize was given to the English film "Green is great" directed by Ketrin Dusen produced by British Council. The Special Jury Award for Global Acquisition and Outstanding Production was awarded to the film "Before the Flood" directed by Fisher Stevens from the United States. Prizes in the category "Soul Ecology" were made by the jury consisting of: film and TV director Gojko Kastratovic (president), film critic and theoretician Maja Bogojevic and producer Sara Radovic. The unanimous decision of the award for the best film was given to the realization of "Beška" by the director Nedžad Begović from Sarajevo. The second prize was won by the film "Tok" directed by famous Montenegrin actor Mišo Obradović. The third prize went to the Croatian performance "Mom, why are you crying, directed by Vladimire Spindler from Zagreb." The special jury award for an authentic view of the nature and people of Montenegro was given to the film "Montenegro – Unlimited Discovery of the World" directed by Cornelia Schulze from Germany. The awards for the best film in this category were awarded to the achievement of the "Alpine sense of life" by director John Grebert from Austria and the second place was won by the film "Azerbaijan tour director Fuad Guliyev from Azerbaijan, while the third prize was awarded to "Montenegro in the production of the NTO of Montenegro.
Director of the Festival Blagota Marunovic presented special awards to individuals and institutions that contributed to the extremely successful release of the third edition of the festival. Awards were given to: director Rajko Grlic, permanent UN system coordinator and permanent representative of UNDP in Montenegro Fiona McCluney, director of the NTO of Montenegro Zeljka Radak-Kukavicic, director of Zagreb Tour Film Fest Spomenka Saraga, environmental adviser in the Government of Macedonia Dragan Jovanov, director of the Agency Environmental Protection Director Nikola Medenica, Director of Hotel Splendid Zarko Radulovic, Director of Environmental Protection Directorate Ivana Vojinovic, Ruza Helaic from Vojvodina Green Initiative, Ivan Cole Barovic from Danilovgrad Cultural Center and company "Plantaže".
During the award ceremony, a video message was presented to the audience by the winners of the awards, by the directors of Muhammad Ali Ijaz from Pakistan and Craig Leeson from Australia.
With inspired speech and universal messages on the need to create awareness of the vulnerability of living space and man in it, the festival was closed by a member of the GMIFF Council, Prince Nikola Petrović.
