PFAS are forever chemicals found in many everyday items, including Teflon which can be found in non-stick pans. These perennial pollutants; are carcinogenic and contaminate the air, drinking water and human organisms around the world. This film is a story between Europe and the US highlighting the scale of this disaster and the emergency for collective European action against this global threat.

Stenka Quillet
Stenka Quillet is an independent author of investigative documentary films. After working in radio for France Inter, Radio France, and RFI, she devoted herself to documentary filmmaking, specializing in in-depth research on the food and chemical industries and their impact on people and the environment. Her films have been broadcast on Arte, Canal+, and France Télévisions, and have received awards at numerous international festivals, including the Deauville Green Awards.
Quentin Noirfalisse
Quentin Noirfalisse is a documentary film director and producer. Since 2009, he has focused on topics related to the Democratic Republic of Congo, working on films such as The Minister of Garbage (2017, Dok Leipzig, FESPACO), The Battle for Cobalt (2022, FIPADOC), and Lumumba, the Return of a Hero (2024). His documentary film After the Rain portrays the consequences of catastrophic floods that devastated large parts of his native region in eastern Belgium.
