Originally conceived as a fiction film, the project unexpectedly turns into reality. Nura, a mother from Srebrenica, returns home from work with a birthday cake for her son. Only two friends have shown up for the celebration, and the situation worsens when it turns out there is no water due to supply restrictions. What was meant to be a scripted scene becomes a document of real life. The film crew halts production and decides to confront a pressing question: what is it like to live in Srebrenica without water?

Milica Radovanović
Milica Radovanović was born on 13 August 1998 in Nikšić, Montenegro. She studied Journalism and Media Studies and has been working as a photographer for the past ten years. Through various educational programmes, workshops, and training courses, she has further developed her skills in photography and documentary filmmaking, the fields in which she found her true calling. She graduated from the Documentary Film School of Kino Klub Podgorica, where she directed and shot two original short documentary films. Her second film, produced as part of the Silver Film Festival residency programme, was screened at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2025.
