Alexandra Drobac Diagne

MEMBER OF THE JURY for the categories of 'Ecology' and 'Ecology of the Soul'

Alexandra has over 25 years of experience in film production, curation and start-ups. Most recently, she was co-founder and artistic director of the Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival for 7 years.

Prior to Philadelphia, she lived in Los Angeles where she worked with several film directors and production studios. Highlights include helping to launch the production company Lightstorm Entertainment for director James Cameron while working on the production of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and research on Titanic and Avatar. She oversaw international production of multimedia programmes for Pantheon Studios including Charlton Heston’s Voyage Through the Bible, worked on Gregory Nava’s A Time of Destiny and had the honour to be on set with director Ridley Scott. Prior to the film world, Alexandra used her Art History degree as an education specialist at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.

Alexandra is a second generation American born of Serbian and Montenegrin origin whose ancestors from Nikšić and Lika emigrated to United States a hundred years ago.
