Anđela Marunović is a Montenegrin actress, born on 25 April 2001 in Podgorica. She developed her passion for performing arts in childhood, graduating from the “Vasa Pavić” Music and Ballet School, where she also received numerous awards for recitation during her education. She graduated in Acting from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, where she also completed her Master’s studies under the mentorship of Professor Dubravka Drakić.
She began her professional acting career at the Montenegrin National Theatre, playing the leading role in the production “I Am the One Who Is Not” directed by Vito Taufer. Since then, she has achieved notable roles in theatre, film, and television, collaborating with renowned directors and participating in projects of diverse artistic approaches, ranging from classical repertoire to contemporary and original productions.
For her portrayal of Stela in the play “The Other Side”, directed by Boris Liješević, she received the “Rejhan Demirdžić” Award for Best Young Actress at the MESS International Theatre Festival in Sarajevo.
In addition to her theatre work, she has appeared in feature films, short films, television series, and commercial projects. In her artistic practice, she is particularly interested in exploring complex characters and human relationships, as well as working on projects that encourage creative exploration and offer new approaches to theatrical expression.
