Mr Andro Martinović
He was born in Nikšić in 1977. He graduated from the departments of General Literature and Literary Theory and Film and TV Directing.
He is an editor of the Montenegrin Cinematheque programme and assistant professor at the Film and Media study programme at the Donja Gorica University.
He is an editor of the book about the first Montenegrin cinemas “Crnogorski kinematografi 1908-1914”, the bibliography about director Živko Nikolić and the translation of the recording book for the film “ Crnogorski kinematografi 1908-1914”.
He is an author of short movies selected by and aired at more than twenty prestigious international festivals (including: Ueska, Montpellier, Rome, Sarajevo, Drama, Tangier, Motovun). For his film “Netaknuti srcem”, he was awarded the Golden Plaque of Belgrade for the best short fiction film. His film “Maske” was selected for the European Short Film Tour and bought up to be aired in about thirty countries. Together with Branko Baletić, he served as a co-author of documentary film “Crna Gora i Veliki rat” awarded with Special Price by 2016 International Historical and Military Film Festival in Warsaw.
His debutant feature film “Između dana i noći”, premiered in 2018 during competition selection of the 42nd Film Festival in Montreal, participated in thirty international festivals and received five awards.
