Oskar Huter was born on 26 March 1977 in Cetinje, Montenegro, where he finished the elementary and high school. He acquired the title of Specialist Professional Manager in the field of Management and Business (Professional master) at the University of Belgrade. He worked at the National Museum of Montenegro during 2000-2017, as a museum guide in the period 2000-2013, and as the Head of the Tourist Service of the National Museum of Montenegro in the period 2013-2017.
His love for Montenegro, respect for its history and tradition made him dedicate himself to jobs that will further promote the importance and beauty of Cetinje and Montenegro to the world, so in 2017 he had assumed the position of director of the Professional Service of the Tourism Organisation of Cetinje. Aside from regular jobs in Tourism Organisation of Cetinje, having been aware of cultural and educational needs of the community, he had tried from the beginning to make contribution by cooperating with distinguished names from the world of art from the ex-Yu region.
The famous quote serves as his motto – Whoever does not carry it [the heaven] within himself, seeks in vain for it in the whole universe. (Wer den Himmel nicht in sich selber trägt, der sucht ihn vergebens im ganzen Weltall, original, Otto Ludwig). He is married, the father of three.
