On the Sicilian shore of the strait of Messina the sea takes over men’s lives. Michele, Antonio and Pippo wait for the right sea current, the right season. A millennial awaiting that chains them up with the liquid body their lives sail on.

Andrea Scimone was born in Messina in 1995 where, thanks to a film course attended to the high school, he understands his love for cinema. At 19 he moves to Catania to study to the Academy of Fine Arts, experimenting with the audiovisual, and then moving to the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (National Film School) to find the final step of his education. At the National Film School he developed his first documentary: “Confine Liquido”, an intimate film about his hometown and his relationship with it.
