Despite his boundless optimism and unshakable determination, Pieter’s path is fraught with challenges, not least the devastating news of his terminal cancer diagnosis. After Pieter’s passing in 2021, his son Wout Hoff takes up the mantle. Determined to fulfill his father’s dream, Wout travels to Nigeria to work on the Great Green Wall of Africa project, scattering Pieter’s ashes and carrying forward his legacy of hope and action.
