In the footsteps of Jones

In May 2023, Adrien (an adventurer) and Jones (a donkey) left from Banyuls-sur-mer to Hendaye. For 54 days, they crossed the Pyrenees. Maxime, a committed videographer, joined them on the course to film their adventure. This documentary film tells their adventure: wonder, reconnection with the living, sobriety, “slow travel”, hiking, etc.

During this hike, they learned to walk together, slow down, contemplate the mountains, take their time, reconnect with life, meet the locals…

Adrien Falewée is an engineer by profession. After years in the oil industry, he decided to make a personal ecological transition by walking 3,000 kilometers across New Zealand. Since then, he has devoted his life to ecological transformation, helping companies and communities find sustainable development paths. He dedicates much of his time to eco-adventures, writing books, giving lectures, and participating in film debates. His latest project is the “FOOTPRINT PROJECT,” aiming to raise climate change awareness among 7,000 people through workshops and conferences across France in seven expeditions using biking, snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking, donkeys, and sailing.
