LET IT BEE

“Let It Bee” (Ein Himmel voller Bienen) is a documentary about courage. It is full of ideas, solutions and love for our nature. It features bold protagonists, often very young people, who protect and help bees in various wonderful ways. The film illustrates how all of us can protect them, promote biodiversity and thereby turn our own world into a paradise. Why a movie on bees? Because 80% of our food depends on pollination by insects, but insects are disappearing. It’s the biggest decline of species since the extinction of dinosaurs. A silent death has begun. Next to the climate crisis, species decline is the biggest global threat. According to NABU, 150 animal and plant species are disappearing from our planet – every day.
