Paths of Peabiru

“Paths of Peabiru” is a poetic and inspirational documentary that retraces the history of one of Latin America’s most enigmatic trails, the Path of Peabiru. Between ancestral myths and the breathtaking landscapes of Paraná, Brazil, the film explores the traces of this ancient indigenous route, revealing its historical, cultural and spiritual importance. Guided by the narrative of a Guarani grandmother who passes on the legend to her granddaughter, the documentary interweaves stories, research and images from the present to connect the past and the future, exploring what unites us and drives us forward.

Bruna Steudel is a director and screenwriter with sixteen years of experience and a rich portfolio that includes more than 15 theatre productions, numerous short and medium-length films, TV films, and children's series. Her film All the Ness Inscribed won awards at festivals in Chile and Brazil, and she was a finalist in the directing category at the Rio WebFest.
