The film tells the story of the reappearance of the beaver to the Una River and other waterways in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This semi-aquatic mammal disappeared from the region approximately one hundred years ago. Filmed over a period of five years, the documentary follows the beaver through all four seasons, revealing its way of life in its natural habitat, its feeding habits, and its interactions with the people living along the riverbanks.

Hasan Arnutović
Hasan Arnautović is a long-time cameraman with TV BiH and a member of the Association of Cameramen and Camerawomen of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASBH). He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his documentary films at international film festivals around the world. In 2016, he was presented with a Special Jury Award at the International Green Montenegro Film Festival for his documentary film “Javorov Kod”. Through his work, he focuses on nature, environmental conservation, and the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
