Marko Kumer Murč
Born in 1980 in Slovenj Gradec, he is a director and producer of numerous documentaries and award-winning short fiction films. He founded EnaBanda Film Production in 2011 and Rusalka Films in 2016. He was the initiator of the short film screenwriting workshop Kratka Scena in Ljubljana, which hosts top screenwriting experts from across Europe. He is also one of the founders of the young producers' association Prodorni Producenti, operating under Slovenia's largest producers' association. He regularly attends various workshops and festivals. As a director, he primarily works on documentary films exploring environmental and social issues. He is also interested in society and its structures.
